Ran into some serious good fortune last night. I got to watch Wicked for free (TINSTAAFL, lol) at the Pantages with Shirley (courtesy of Shirley’s generous friend). I think this is going to propel me into becoming a musical-loving human being, because I thoroughly enjoyed the production. According to Ashley (my musical guru), Spring Awakening, Phantom of the Opera, Rent, and Les Miserables (which is coming to San Francisco this summer) are all amazing too. Loan money for the win (nervous laughter). On another side note, it was great to be back in the heart of LA, and Hollywood wasn’t menacing.
