Home Suh-weeet Home
I’m finally after home after four months of law school. My mom put up the Christmas tree, and I’m being treated like a guest of honor (although, I think my parents go more all out for my sister and my brother in law). The first thing I did when I came home (besides seeing mom + dad + Rochelle) was drive my neglected car that had run out of battery from non-use. I’d fantasized about blasting music and driving for a while now, and like most things, it was pretty anticlimactic. I got a haircut (it is now short), and just today took notice to the mustache that I’d grown during the past four months (that no one had the courtesy, or was too courteous maybe, to inform me of). Law school at it’s finest. All this to say, I’m home, more grateful than ever - especially for God’s grace in carrying me through my first semester - and I’m ready to relax the heck out even though job applications are looming over my head.
P.S. Although I was mildly upset that the weather wasn’t much warmer than it was in San Francisco, the weather today is gorgeous, warm, and totally true to the SoCal name.
